Hi, new to the badminton arena, only been playing for a 3-4 months now.
I am beginning to grasp the basics, and have witnessed considerable improvements in serving, smashes, etc, albeit far from a technically-correct player.
I am using a Carlton 60 racket, which is a nightmare as it is extremely heavy (not sure how heavy but it should be in excess of 130g, perhaps more).
I am looking into buying a GOOD racket, money not an issue, but I don’t want to make the common mistake of forking out as much as I can on the best racket on the planet.
I have found out the Karakal SL70 and M-TEC 70, and considering to buy it. At GBP65, the price is well within budget. Questions:
1) As this is the lightest racket in the market, do you think that 70g would have a negative impact on my development of skills?
2) Would you advise against an ISO head at this early stage?
Many thanks,
Mike

Hi, I have had a hard time finding APACs rackets here in the US. And I still can not find anyone who sells them. I am interested in being a distributor for Apacs Rackets here in the United States. Would you be able to point me into the right direction?
Thanks,
Duy Yin

Hi Duy
The main Apacs factory is in Malaysia, that i know. I do get rackets from Apacs UK to test, and i know they get their rackets from Malaysia. I know there is a seller in Canada, so they will probably know a lot more than i do about how to go about becoming a distributor. To be honest with you, if no one sells them in the US yet, then you could be onto a good thing.
